You need at least one full month between filling out the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and our legal wedding. I take care of the NOIM paperwork, just get in touch with me at least a month before you want to marry.

I have a highly professional Bose S1+ PA system and a Sennheiser microphone. Perfect so every guest can hear your vows, reliable even in windy conditions. Perfect for the beach, a middle of a paddock or a big winery. It has output capability which means your videographer can plug directly into it.

We can also play your ceremony music through this system.

Some people use a chosen name, not their legal one. We can work to have two ceremonies - one legal for just us and two witnesses and another one for everyone else (but we must tell everyone else that the legal ceremony has already occurred).

Yes, even with legals only I will allow for personalised vows. All my ceremonies have this opportunity. For Short and Sweet ceremonies and the Full Love Story package I will give you access to my vow writing guide and I am happy to read and check your vows before the ceremony (hint: not a bad idea to check you both have similar style vows)

I charge $50 extra per witness, if required

$100 for an Official Certificate of Marriage from Births, Deaths and Marriages (or you can order one yourself, for around $70)

Travel fees apply for further than 30km from Hobart but may be waived on weekdays depending on how far away the wedding is.

I’m here to make the legal stuff as easy as possible. Most, or all, of the pre-wedding legal paperwork can be done online via a questionnaire I send you, and then we hop on a Google Meet call to witness the signing.

I do this as a full time gig, so there’s no other jobs taking up my brainspace. I am dedicated to answering emails, calls and texts as quickly as possible and have a professional client management system to ensure my processes are as professional as possible.

But me? I’m a people person. I love a chat, a glass of bubbles post-ceremony, and I absolutely love hearing your love stories. I am naturally a bit nosy by nature and so to get to have a part of the most special day of your lives is a real privilege and I take it both seriously, and keep it fun too.

The Full Love Story contains a full long script about your love story, about marriage. There’s room for your mates to read a poem or play a guitar song. We include a full rehearsal, I will always meet you in person, several times before the wedding and I really get to know you as a couple.

For Short and Sweet, it’s exactly the same except your script is much shorter (around 20 minutes total), there’s less personalisation with your love story and there’s no rehearsal. That’s all. It’s still a beautiful wedding and still perfect for many, many couples.

This is all part of the service I provide to you. You don’t need to download a NOIM and start filling it out. I do this with you, as part of the process before the wedding. You will however, need your birth certificate, driver’s license or passport. As well as any relevant divorce or death certificates from previous marriages.
